Post Microneedling Treatment
- ·The most commonly reported temporary side effects are redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, tingling, numbness, lumpiness and/or feeling of pressure or fullness at the injection sites and/or in the treated areas.
- Visible results may take between two to four weeks and vary between individuals.
- Cool gel packs or a cool compress can be applied to reduce swelling and tenderness.
- Refrain from scrubbing the area for at least 12 hours.
- Avoid exercise and heat treatments for 48 hours.
- Avoid make-up for at least 48 hours or until healed. You can return to your usual skincare routine when the skin has healed.
- Avoid any acid-based or retinol creams for 72 hours post treatment.
